How Calcly uses cookies, browser storage, and analytics

Google Analytics 4

Calcly uses Google Analytics 4 from Google to understand aggregate use of calculators, tools, games, search, and navigation. Analytics is enabled by default for our US-oriented opt-out model. Google is a third-party analytics service provider.

The GA4 stream uses measurement ID G-15KX5FZPNT. Google Signals, advertising personalization, User-ID, remarketing, and advertising product links are disabled. The Google Analytics property is configured for 14-month user and event retention.

_ga_<stream-id> Maintains GA4 session and stream measurement state. Set and controlled by Google Analytics.
calcly-ga4-opt-out Stores your choice to disable analytics in this browser. Until you re-enable analytics or clear browser storage.
calcly-theme Stores your light or dark theme preference. Until you change or clear the preference.

Cloudflare may also use strictly necessary security measures to deliver the site and prevent abuse. The table does not include browser or hosting behavior outside Calcly's control.

What Analytics Receives

Calcly sends only limited, allowlisted metadata: page paths without query strings or hashes; calculator ID, title, and category; search query length and result count (never the raw search text); and stable surface, action, and target names for interactions. We do not send calculator inputs, calculator results, generated outputs, or game state.

Google may process cookie identifiers, browser/device data, IP-derived approximate location, and on-site activity as described in Google's data practices.

Your Analytics Choice

Use the control below to opt out. Calcly then stores the preference, stops loading the GA4 tag on future pages, and clears pending analytics events. Re-enable analytics whenever you choose. You can also review Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
