What We Don't Collect

Calcly has no account system and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other identity details to use the site. We do not send the following to analytics:

• Calculator inputs or calculator results
• Financial, health, fitness, or other values entered into calculators
• Raw search terms
• Generated tool outputs or game state
• User IDs, advertising IDs, or custom dimensions containing entered data

Google Analytics may still process browser and device information, approximate location, page activity, and the limited event metadata described below when analytics is enabled.

How Calculators Work

Calculator functions run in your web browser using JavaScript. Your values are used locally to produce results, and calculator logic does not submit those inputs or results to Calcly, Cloudflare, or Google Analytics.

Google Analytics

When analytics is enabled, Calcly uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, as a third-party analytics service provider. It helps us understand how calculators, tools, games, search, and navigation are used so we can improve the site.

Google may process first-party cookie identifiers, browser and device information, IP-derived approximate location, page activity, and limited event metadata. Calcly sends only allowlisted metadata: calculator ID/title/category and page path; search query length, result count, source, and page path; and stable interaction surface, action, target, and page path. Page paths and page locations exclude query strings and hashes.

Google Signals, advertising personalization signals, User-ID, advertising links, and remarketing are not enabled for this rollout. Google Analytics property data retention is configured to 14 months.

Analytics Settings and Cookies

Analytics is enabled by default for this US-oriented opt-out model. Selecting “Opt out of analytics” stores a persistent preference in this browser, prevents the Google Analytics tag from loading on future pages, clears pending analytics events, and disables the local GA4 measurement flag. You can re-enable analytics later from the control below or the Cookie & Analytics Notice.

Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<stream-id>. The cookie notice explains their purpose and retention. Calcly also uses browser storage for your theme preference and the analytics opt-out choice. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security measures to protect the site and prevent abuse.

Cloudflare and Other Services

Calcly uses Cloudflare for hosting, security, delivery, and Web Analytics. Cloudflare may process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the site. Google is used for the GA4 analytics service described above. We do not use advertising networks, remarketing, or a backend API for calculator processing.

Data Security

Calculator values remain in the browser during calculation. Analytics and ordinary web requests are transmitted to the relevant service only when needed for the enabled site features. No Calcly account database stores calculator inputs, results, or a user profile.

Your Choices and Rights

You can use Calcly without an account, opt out of Google Analytics with the control above, clear browser storage or cookies, and use Google's own privacy and opt-out resources. Rights and obligations can vary by jurisdiction; contact Calcly through the About page with privacy questions.

Children's Privacy

Calcly does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Our calculators, tools, and games can be used by anyone, but younger users should use the site with parental guidance.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site or its services change. We will post changes on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
