What We Don't Collect

Calcly is designed with privacy-first principles. Here's what we deliberately do NOT collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Calculator inputs or results
• Financial, health, fitness, or other sensitive values you enter into calculators
• Account credentials (because we have no login system)
• Advertising identifiers or device identifiers
• Cross-site browsing history or marketing profiles

How Calculators Work

All calculator functions run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. When you enter data and click "Calculate":

1. Your input stays on your device
2. The calculation happens locally in your browser
3. Results are displayed to you instantly
4. Your calculator inputs and results are not sent to our servers

This means your sensitive information, mortgage amounts, salaries, and health metrics, is not submitted to Calcly or Cloudflare by calculator logic.

Anonymous Analytics

To improve Calcly and understand which calculators are most useful, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics for privacy-first, aggregate usage and performance statistics such as:

• Page views and popular calculators
• Browser type and device category (mobile vs desktop)
• Approximate geographic region (country level only)
• Core Web Vitals and page load timing

Cloudflare Web Analytics is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, personal profiling, or identifying individual visitors. We do not send calculator inputs, calculator results, or raw search terms to analytics.

Cookies

Calcly does not use analytics cookies. We keep browser storage limited to essentials:

• Theme preference: Your light or dark mode choice is saved in local browser storage, not an analytics cookie
• Essential security: Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security measures to protect the site and prevent abuse

We do NOT use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party marketing cookies.

Third-Party Services

Calcly uses Cloudflare for hosting, security, and privacy-first Web Analytics. Cloudflare does not receive your calculator inputs or results from calculator logic. We carefully vet third-party services to ensure they meet our privacy standards.

Data Security

Since we don't collect or store personal data, there's no database of user information that could be breached. Your calculator inputs are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted over the internet.

Your Rights

Because Calcly does not collect account data, calculator inputs, or calculator results, there is no profile or calculator history for us to provide, sell, or delete. However, you always have the right to:

• Use Calcly anonymously
• Clear your browser data at any time
• Disable cookies (though this may affect site functionality)
• Contact us with privacy questions or concerns

Children's Privacy

Calcly does not knowingly collect personal data or calculator data from children under 13. Our calculators can be used by anyone, but we recommend parental guidance for younger users.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
